Students will gain expertise in the rich and varied applications within Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Internet Research. Students will substantially improve their word processing skills and technical know-how and, as a consequence, improve their marketability and schoolwork. Students successfully completing this course may wish to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams through MCPS. Although they will not be a requirement, the instructor strongly encourages students to take one or more of these exams for possible college credit.
